A weather band curling into Hurricane Maria, 200n.miles to the north of Grenada.
Grenada is acting as a refuge for many planes and, so far, one cruise ship as they come down from the islands to the north of us.
The sky has cleared since this was taken but I couldn’t resist the cloud formation. Nice weather here, cooling a little, shorts and t-shirts instead of swimming costumes! Loads of sun cream, sunglasses, the usual winter wear.
We have friends in Norway and in Grenada and all over the world.
Wherever you are in the world at this time, we wish you calm hearts and happy households.
For several weeks we have had tropical waves passing through, fortunately without too much strong weather in our area.
Our thoughts and sympathies go out to the more northern islands who have been badly affected by hurricanes.
I couldn’t resist posting this shot taken earlier this year. The sunsets are really something else. Looks like the clouds were trying to tell me something……
